According to the World Health Organization, better nutrition is associated with a lower risk of non-transmissible diseases and improved child and maternal health. In addition, "healthy children learn better" and individuals "with adequate nutrition are more productive and can create opportunities to gradually break the cycles of poverty and hunger".
Having the power to influence disease risk and education, nutrition can shape one's potential and allow for personal fulfilment. As a result, we aim to combat poor nutrition through assistance and education.
At the EDN initiative, we believe that food is opportunity, and opportunity is for everyone.
